Tomato and Egg Toasts
 
 

4 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons onion, chopped 2 cups stewed tomatoes  ½ teaspoon salt  ¼ pound grated cheese 2 eggs, beaten Toast points Melt butter and add onion. Sauté gently for 10 minutes, then add tomatoes and salt, and cook until heated through.  Add cheese and stir until melted. Add beaten eggs and cook until egg thickens. Serve on toast points.
