Tangy Broccoli–Cauliflower Salad
 
Salad
1 head broccoli, chopped (smaller than bite size pieces)
1 cauliflower, chopped (smaller than bite size pieces)
1 lb. bacon 
1 cup of raisins 
1 cup cashews, chopped 

Dressing
2 cups of mayonnaise
½ cup of white sugar 
2 t cider vinegar (do not substitute) 

Cook bacon crisp and crumble. In a large bowl, mix together broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, raisins and cashews.

In a separate bowl, mix together all dressing ingredients and let sit for 10-15 minutes, until sugar is completely dissolved. Add dressing to salad just before serving.

Note: Any nut or sunflower seeds may be substituted for the cashews.
