Strawberry
Pie
| 2/3 c. sugar
2 T cornstarch 1 c. water pinch of salt |
4 T strawberry jello powder
2 pints strawberries, cleaned & hulled 1 baked pie shell whipped cream |
| Mix the sugar, cornstarch, water and salt
in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until clear. Add the strawberry
jello. Cool
Put a small amount of the cooled sauce in the shell. Layer berries and sauce alternately. Chill. Serve with whipped cream. |
