Strawberry

| Fresh strawberries (enough to fill pie
shell)
1 cup crushed strawberries 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon cornstarch Baked pastry shell Fill pie shell with fresh whole berries
which have been washed and hulled. In a saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch,
then add crushed strawberries. Simmer over low heat until transparent.
Pour this hot berry syrup over berries in shell. Chill. Serve with whipped
cream.
