Stuffed Potato Surprise
 
 
4 large baking potatoes
½ pound small link sausages butter
4 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon salt
About ¾ cup hot milk
Grated cheese (optional)

Scrub potatoes thoroughly, and dry. Bake until soft, about one hour at 350° F. Broil the sausages until nicely browned, then drain and cut into ¼ inch slices. When potatoes are done, cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the potato, add butter and salt and mash. Add hot milk and beat until fluffy, then add sausage. Fill the potato shells with potato-sausage mixture, sprinkle with grated cheese over top if desired, and return to oven for a few minutes until warmed through and cheese is melted.
