Sour
Cream Cake
| 3 eggs
1 1/3 cups sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1½ cups sour cream ¾ teaspoon baking soda 2¼ cups cake flour 1½ teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs well.
Add sugar gradually, then beat in vanilla. Mix soda into sour cream. Add
to sugar mixture and beat well. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Pour into a greased 13x9 inch pan or two 8 or 9 inch round cake pans. Bake
35-40 minutes in the oblong pan or 25-30 minutes in the round pans at 350°
F.
