Supper Casserole
| 3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour 1½ cups milk 1 tablespoon instant chicken bouillon 1 pound turkey, cooked and chopped 3 cups potatoes, sliced 3 cups zucchini, sliced 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded ½ teaspoon thyme 1 cup Durkee french-fried onions In saucepan melt butter; gradually stir
in flour to make a roux. Gradually add milk and chicken bouillon; cook
until sauce is thickened. In 2-quart casserole dish place turkey; place
potato slices over meat. Top potato slices with zucchini slices. Sprinkle
cheddar cheese over zucchini; pour sauce over cheese, covering the top
of casserole. Bake at 350° F. for 1½ hours or until potatoes
are tender. Remove from oven and garnish with onions; return to oven for
5-10 minutes.
