Surprise Cake
| 1 package (about 18 oz.) chocolate cake
mix
2 medium pears, cored and sliced ½ c flour ¼ c packed brown sugar 1 t ground cinnamon ¼ c margarine Prepare chocolate cake mix according to
package directions. Pour batter into greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Press
sliced pears into batter. Combine flour, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut
in margarine. Sprinkle mixture over pears. Bake at 350° F. for 35 to
40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Serve
warm or cold.
