Revoltillos
| 2 lb. ground beef
2 medium green peppers, seeded and diced 1 t garlic, minced 1 medium onion, diced ¾ cup raisins ¾ cup black olives, sliced 4 bay leaves 1cup rice 2 cups beef broth Brown the beef. Add the garlic, onion and peppers. Cook until soft. Toss in the raisins, bay leaves and olives. Add the broth and bring to a boil. Add the rice, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Toss with the beef mixture. Serve warm. Serves 6-8 |
