Pork Sausage and Corn Casserole
 
 
1 pound pork sausage patties
2 T butter
2 T flour
2 c canned or frozen corn 
1 c. milk
1 c. fine cracker crumbs

Fry pork sausage patties until lightly brown. In a small saucepan, over medium heat, make a white sauce by melting butter, adding the flour and stirring in the milk. Stir until the sauce thickens. Arrange layers of crumbs, corn, sausage patties in a greased casserole, topping with buttered crumbs, and bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

(If using frozen corn, you should thaw it before measuring. For buttered bread crumbs, melt 1-2 T butter and mix in 1 cup dried bread crumbs.)
