Pineapple

1 cup shortening 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 cup drained crushed pineapple 1 cup nut meats 1 teaspoon soda ½ teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder 4 cups flour Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add
pineapple and nut meats. Sift salt, baking powder and flour together and
add to other ingredients. Blend and drop on greased baking sheet. Bake
in moderate even (350° F.) 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
