Pumpkin
Pie
| No. 2 1/2 can pumpkin
1 1/2 c. brown sugar 4 eggs, beaten 3 T melted butter 1 1/2 tsp. ginger |
2 T dark Karo syrup
1 1/4 tsp. salt 1 1/4 c. milk 4 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg |
| Combine pumpkin, sugar and remaining ingredients
in order given. Bake for 10 minutes at 450o. Reduce heat quickly
to 325o (leave oven door slightly ajar) and continue baking
for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Makes 2 8-inch pies. |
