Plum Cake
 
 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. vanlla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. fresh plums (about 6)
cinnamon-sugar
pinch of salt
Cream together the butter, sugar and egg; beat until fluffy. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients, and fold into the egg mixture just until thoroughly moistened. 

Spread batter in a greased and floured 9-inch cake pan. Quarter and pit plums. Arrange quarter on batter. Sprikle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in a 350o oven. Cool slightly before serving.
