Plantation Cheese Log
 
1 cup pecans
2 cloves garlic
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon soy sauce
4 drops Tabasco
1½ teaspoons chili powder
 

Chop pecans and garlic in a food processor. Mix the remaining ingredients except chili powder in a bowl, add the pecan-garlic mixture. Shape into a roll about 1½ inches in diameter. Sprinkle chili powder evenly over a sheet of waxed paper and roll log in the powder to coat evenly. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill cheese log at least 4 hours. Slice before serving. If necessary, allow lo, to stand at room temperature to soften slightly.
