Pesto
Sauce
| 2 c tightly packed basil leaves
2 garlic cloves, crushed 2 T pine nuts ½ c olive oil 2/3 c Parmesan cheese, finely grated salt and pepper to taste Place the basil, garlic, pine nuts and
seasoning in a food processor and grind as fine as possible. With the food
processor on, slowly add the oil in a thin stream to make a smooth paste.
Add the cheese and pulse quickly 3 to 4 times. Adjust the seasoning if
necessary and heat gently. Serve on your favorite pasta.
