Crispy
Marshmallow Treats
| 4 T butter
4 cups marshmallows (10 oz package) 5 cups Rice Krispies, Cheerios, Capn' Crunch, or Corn Pops Stovetop: Melt butter in large pan (Dutch oven) over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir till melted. Remove from heat, add cereal and stir until completely coated. Using a buttered spatula, press evenly into buttered 13x9x2 inch pan. Cool. Cut into 2 inch squares. Microwave: Spray microwave safe bowl with non-stick coating (e.g. butter-flavor Pam). Microwave butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 1 minute, remove and stir, replace and repeat on HIGH 1 minute. Once melted and easily stirred, add cereal and mix until completely coated. Using a buttered spatula, press evenly into buttered 13x9x2 inch pan. Cool. Cut into 2 inch squares. Variations:
