Monkey Bread
 
4 tubes refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
¾ cup sugar
1 t cinnamon
1 cup sugar
¾ cup butter (1½ sticks)
¾ t cinnamon
 
Grease 2 bread pans or one Bundt cake pan. Preheat oven to 350° F. Pour ¾ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a paper bag and shake to mix. Open each tube of biscuits and cut each biscuit into four parts. Place a few pieces at a time into the bag with sugar/cinnamon mixture, and shake until coated. Place coated pieces evenly in the prepared pans. Put 1 cup sugar, ¾ cup butter or margarine, and ¾ teaspoon cinnamon in small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Pour half of mixture evenly over each pan of biscuits. Bake for 30 minutes.
