Lemon-Basil
Marinade
| 1/4 c fresh lemon juice
1/4 c water 1 T basil, finely chopped 1 t vegetable oil 1/2 t lemon peel, grated 1/4 t black pepper, coarsely ground Combine all the ingredients, stirring until well blended. Place either chicken or beef in a bowl and cover wiht half of the marinade. Close bag securely and marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to two hours. When grilling, use the rest of the marinade, coating the meat several times while cooking. |
