Lamb Patties Wrapped in Bacon
 
 
1½ pounds ground lamb
1 t salt
1/8 t pepper
6 slices bacon

Mix lamb and seasonings. Shape into six patties. Wrap each patty with a bacon slice and fasten with a toothpick. Place on broiler rack, insert broiler so that top of patties is 2 to 3 inches from heat. When brown, turn and brown second side. Broil 8 to 10 minutes on each side.
