Fudge Sundae Cake
| 1 c. all purpose flour
¾ c. white sugar 2 T cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. salt ½ c. milk 2 T vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. brown sugar ¼ c. cocoa 1 ¾ c. hottest tap water ice cream Heat oven to 350°. Mix flour, white
sugar, 2 T cocoa, baking powder and salt. Put, in ungreased 9 x9-inch
square pan. Mix milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in nuts,
spread in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa. Pour hot water
over batter. Bake 40 minutes. While still warm, spoon into dessert dishes
and top with ice cream. Spoon sauce from pan onto each serving. Makes
9 servings
