Fudge Topping
| 1/2 c. whipping cream
3 T unsalted butter 1/3 c. sugar |
1/3 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa pinch of salt |
| Place cream and butter (cut into small pieces) in a heavy 1-quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir until butter melts and cream comes to a low boil. Add sugars and stir until dissolved, a few minutes. Reduce heat. Add salt and cocoa and stir briskly with small wire whisk until smooth and thickened. |
