Chocolate Chip Almond Cake
| 1 1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 - 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 1 - 4 oz. pkg. instant chocolate pudding 4 eggs |
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. water 1/4 c. oil 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. almond extract |
| Grease bundt pan. Place 1/2 cup almonds in bottom of bundt pan. Blend other ingredients except remaining almonds and chocolate chips, for 4 minutes with an electric mixer. Stir in chips and almonds by hand. Bake at 350o for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes and remove. Serve with whipped cream. |
