Carolina Style Slaw
| 1 head cabbage shredded
1 each red and green bell peppers, finely chopped 1 cup cider vinegar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon ground red pepper ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup catsup Mix together vinegar, salt, black pepper, red pepper, brown sugar and catsup and taste. Adjust seasoning to fit your taste, more ketchup and sugar reduce bitterness, for example. Add to cabbage and bell peppers and mix
well. Refrigerate a few hours to let the flavors blend well. Enjoy it on
a sandwich, or with some good southern BBQ.
