Creamed
Dried Beef
| 4 ounces dried beef
2 tablespoons shortening ¼ c. flour 2 c. milk 3 hard-cooked eggs, chopped (optional) Brown dried beef lightly in melted shortening. Add flour and mix well. Add cold milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add chopped eggs. Cook until heated through. Serve on toast. |
