Crackerjack
With Peanuts
| ½ cup molasses
1 cup brown sugar ½ tablespoon vinegar ½ tablespoon butter 2 cups shelled peanuts 5 clips salted popped corn Combine molasses, brown sugar and vinegar
and cook until it becomes brittle when dropped in cold water (270-290°
F.) Stir constantly to prevent burning. Add. butter and peanuts which have
been lightly browned in oven. Stir only enough to mix. Pour mixture over
salted popcorn, and stir until combined. Press lightly into a greased pan.
