Corn
Flake Macaroons
| 3 tablespoons melted shortening
¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup white sugar 1 egg ¼ cup chopped nuts ¼ cup shredded coconut 2½ cups slightly crushed corn flakes Blend shortening and sugars thoroughly.
Add egg and beat well. Add nut meats, coconut and corn flakes. Mix well.
Shape cookies, using a tablespoon and pressing the filled spoon against
the side of the bowl. Then drop lightly on a greased cookie sheet. Bake
in moderate oven (350° F.) for 10 minutes.
