| ¾ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar 1 egg, beaten ½ teaspoon vanilla 1½ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg
and vanilla and mix well. Add flour and baking powder sifted together.
Mix thoroughly and pack firmly into cookie press. Force dough through press
in shapes desired and onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven
(400° F.) for 8 to 12 minutes.
