Chocolate Chippers
| 2¼ cups unsifted all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda 1 cup butter or margarine, softened ¼ cup granulated sugar ¾ cup packed light brown sugar 1 t vanilla 1 - 4 oz. package vanilla instant pudding 2 eggs 1 - 12 oz. package chocolate chips 1 cup nuts (optional) Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl and set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars, and pudding mix, and beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs, and gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Roll into balls and flatten slightly or drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º F. for 8-10 minutes. Note: You may use instant chocolate
pudding instead of vanilla pudding for a chocolate chocolate chip cookie.
