Chocolate
Chip Cake
| 1 c. softened butter
1½ c. brown sugar 2 eggs 2 T milk 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2½ c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. salt 1½ c. chocolate chip 1 c. nuts Cream together butter, sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour, baking powder, salt, chocolate chips and nuts. Blend well. Grease 13 x 9 glass dish. Cut waxed paper to fit bottom of dish. Place paper in greased pan, rub well until back of paper is greased. Take out and turn over to greased side. Pour dough evenly over waxed paper. Bake 325º for about 40 minutes. Cool on rack. Decorate with frosting. Makes 10 servings. Frosting 1 - 1 lb. box powdered sugar
Melt butter, add milk and cocoa. Stir until
smooth. Add powdered sugar and stir until smooth. Spread on cake.
