Candied
Fruits
| 2 cups sugar
1 cup water 1/3 cup light corn syrup Any fruit to be candied Boil together sugar, water and corn syrup
until mixture spins a thread when dropped from a spoon, then add fruit
which is drained of all juice. Simmer in syrup for at least 15-20 minutes,
or until it seems to have absorbed a good deal of syrup, and allow
to dry.
