Butterscotch
Brownies
| 1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. vegetable oil 1 egg 1/2 c. chopped nuts |
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt |
| Combine sugar and oil; add egg and beat well. Add nuts and vanilla. Fold in mixed dry ingredients. Bake in 8-inch square pan for 20 minutes at 350o. Cut into squares while warm. |
