Broiled
Bacon Cheese Canapés
| 4 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, cut in
pieces
2 teaspoons grated onion 3 slices bacon 2 teaspoons mayonnaise ¼ medium green pepper 2 dozen 2 inch bread rounds Put cheese, bacon, and green pepper through
the coarse blade of a food chopper. Blend in the onion and mayonnaise.
Arrange bread rounds on a baking sheet or broiler rack. Toast on one side.
Spread the topping on untoasted side. Broil 3 inches from source of heat
until topping is bubbly and light golden.
