Barbecued Lamb Roast
 
 
3 pound breast of lamb 
2 onions, sliced 
¼ cup chili sauce 
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper 
1½ tablespoons vinegar 
1 cup water

Cut lamb into serving pieces, season with salt and pepper, and brown fatty sides in a hot skillet. Mix other ingredients and pour over lamb. Cover and simmer for 1½ hours, then remove lid and cook until barbecue sauce is almost absorbed. Serve immediately.
