Bacon-Vegetable

| 8 slices bacon
3 tablespoons cornstarch 1 No. 2 can lima beans, drained 1 No. 2 can solid pack tomatoes 1 teaspoon onion juice 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce ½ teaspoon salt Place bacon in baking dish (7x11 inches) in a hot oven (400° F.) for 15 minutes or until cooked. Remove bacon from pan and pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Stir cornstarch into drippings left in baking dish. Combine lima beans, tomatoes, onion juice, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Pour vegetable mixture into baking dish. Stir to blend with cornstarch. Arrange cooked bacon slices on top of vegetables. Bake in a hot oven (400° F.) 45 minutes. |
