Apple Pie With Crumb Topping
 
 
3 cups  apples, cut fine 
1 cup granulated sugar 
2 level tablespoons flour 
dash of cinnamon
pastry for one-crust pie

Mix apples with sugar, flour and cinnamon and place in unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 450° F., then take out of the oven and add topping.

TOPPING:
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour (scant)
3 tablespoons butter
Mix all ingredients, sprinkle over top of partially baked pie. Return to and continue baking at reduced heat (350° F.) for 30 minutes.
