| Layer of raw potatoes
Layer of raw ground beef Layer of onions ½ c. uncooked rice 1 quart tomatoes 2 tablespoons butter Salt and pepper to taste Green pepper (optional) Butter a deep baking dish, then starting at the bottom put the ingredients into it in the following order: Potatoes, ground beef, sliced onions, green pepper if used, uncooked rice and tomatoes. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Cover and bake 2 hours at 300° F. |
